Our aim is to help abandoned stray cats and provide sanctuary to elderly cats across Dorset.
The charity provides vital care and veterinary assistance to the cats including vaccinations, worming, neutering and spaying. We have foster homes for feral cats that are neutered and cannot be returned to the wild for reasons of illness, old age or because their lives would be in danger if returned to the wild. Kittens that are found before the age of 8 weeks are brought into our care, socialised and homed into a domestic home.
The elderly cat care was founded in 2008 to provide a home for elderly homeless cats after being increasingly asked to accept elderly cats into our care. Elderly cats being extremely difficult to re-home, resulting in a sadly neglected area of animal welfare. With owners being taken into residential care homes or having passed away leaving the cats without a home or an owner we provide them the sympathetic and understanding care for the rest of their natural lives.
We offer memberships to include two newsletters per year alongside our elderly and feral cat sponsorships from £10 per year which includes a photograph and description of your cats history. You can request details via email.
You can head to our Amazon Wishlist and purchase essential items that enable us to care for the cats.
